The City of Denton accepts a variety of bill-payment methods, including mail, telephone, online, drop box and in person. Payment methods may require the customer to provide the utility account number, credit or debit card information, or personal check information.
To pay by phone, customers may call the customer service number available on the City of Denton website, or hearing-impaired customers may access the TDD service by calling the separate listed number. Callers may pay with electronic checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and debit cards. Alternatively, customers may mail payments to the City of Denton P.O. box, or they may pay online using quick pay or pre-authorized bill payment for automatic drafts.
After hours, customers may drop check or money order payments into the drop box. The city accepts walk-in payments Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the address on the customer service area of the City of Denton website, as of 2015. Customers may also pay at any of 28 authorized locations that collect pay center fees.
