Customers pay ComEd bills via various online methods, standard mail, by telephone or in person at an authorized location. Online options include credit or debit card, e-check or an automatic payment that is deducted monthly from a customer's checking account.
As of 2015, a convenience fee is added to payments made by credit or debit card, by phone or through an authorized agent.
Customers can find an authorized agent by visiting ComEd.com, clicking on the Pay Your Bill tab and clicking on the Find Locations tab underneath the Pay In Person heading. Entering a ZIP code in the search box and clicking on the search arrow displays nearby ComEd locations.
