To pay your Cablevision bill online, go to the Cablevision website, click on My Account, and select Pay Bill. You need your Optimum ID and password to complete your bill payment. Optimum is the brand of cable television and Internet services offered by Cablevision.
When you place your cursor on Pay Bill on the Cablevision/Optimum website, you can view your current billing statement to see how much you owe. You can then follow the prompts to make a payment using a debit or credit card, or your bank account. You can also use the Optimum Direct Payment system, where Optimum automatically deducts the amount due from your bank account on the date when your payment is due, as of 2015. You can also use your bank’s online billing service, if one is offered to you. Paying through your bank allows you to protect the confidentiality of your banking information.
If you choose not to use Cablevision's online bill payment methods, alternative methods are available. To pay your bill by phone, call Cablevision’s Automated Phone Service at (866) 213-7456, and follow the prompts to make a payment using your debit or credit card, as of 2015. To pay in person, visit an Optimum store location or payment center. Payments can also be sent by mail to the address listed on your bill stub.
