Some setup is required the first time a payment for a Barclaycard bill is made online. After that, information is stored so subsequent payments can be made quicker.

  1. Register
  2. The first step is to register for an online Barclaycard account, if the account holder has not done this already. This can be done by visiting the Barclaycard United States website and clicking on the link titled Set Up Online Access. The account holder should then follow the instructions on the screen.

  3. Add bank account details
  4. Once an account is set up the card holder will be able to log in where they will see a link titled Make a Payment. Bank account details need to be entered before any payments can be made. This is set up by clicking on the Add a New Bank Account link. The account holder will need the details of their paying bank account to complete this process.

  5. Make a payment
  6. Proceed with making a payment by choosing to make a single payment, or to set up recurring payments. Recurring payments are made on a monthly basis. The account holder can specify the amount he or she wishes to pay, or leave it as the minimum payment amount. Once a payment is made it can take up to 2 business days before it registers on the account.
