An OSHA 10 card is a card issued to construction workers, construction site inspectors, foremen and job supervisors, and all personnel responsible for construction-related projects. The card is issued upon passing an online OSHA 10-hour construction course.
The course is designed to teach construction personnel how to recognize, avoid, abate and prevent health hazards in the workplace and how to follow OSHA construction industry standards. The course must be completed within six months of enrollment. The minimum passing score is 70 percent, and anyone taking the course has three chances to pass the OSHA 10 online test. This 10-hour program is primarily for entry-level workers.
