While there are several international and national pollsters, many smaller organizations exist. Some conduct opinion surveys over the Internet, while others do so via mobile phones. Gallup is easily the largest opinion survey organization as of 2015, having been founded in 1935 by George Gallup. The company does consulting services for innumerable business enterprises around the world. With 30 offices in 20 different countries, the company has four divisions: Gallup Poll, Gallup Press, Gallup Consulting and Gallup University.
Zogby International achieved world acclaim after correctly predicting the outcomes of several polls, including the 1992, 1996 and 2000 U.S. presidential elections. Similarly, the company correctly predicted the 2001 Israeli presidential election and the 2000 and 2006 Mexican presidential polls.
Although YouGov is headquartered in the United Kingdom, it has a worldwide presence. There are 25 YouGov offices in the U.K., U.S., Europe and Asia as of 2015.
