Online nursing degree programs are available at the University of Phoenix, Kaplan University and the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. These include a combination of associate, bachelor's and master’s degree programs.
The University of Phoenix has a school of nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. There are online options to go through the nursing program with certificates and degrees in this field. Some previous college credits also transfer to the school’s nursing program. The Nursing Pathway Program offers master’s degree courses, and the Nursing Bridge Program is for RNs who already have a bachelor’s degree and want to specialize.
Kaplan University offers a bachelor of science in nursing, master of science in nursing and a doctor of nursing practice in addition to certificate nursing programs. All programs are nationally accredited, allowing graduates to find a job at clinics, hospitals and medical enters across the country. Multiple certificate, associate, bachelor's and master's degree programs are offered in nursing at Kaplan.
The Johns Hopkins School of Nursing also provides local and online programs. Some courses in the nursing programs include anatomy, biostatistics, microbiology, physiology, nutrition and human growth. There are bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in nursing for advanced nursing education.
