As of 2015, IRS.gov offers the Schedule A form for the current year, as well as prior years going back to 1970. Forms and instructions posted on the website are in PDF format and can be downloaded or printed, states the IRS. The forms can be filled out electronically or by hand. Alternatively, current year forms and instructions can be ordered from IRS.gov.
