Certification exams are offered at various locations worldwide by Pearson VUE, the test delivery partner for Cisco. Interested parties can register on the Pearson VUE website at VUE.com, or via telephone by calling 1-877-404-EXAM for callers from the United States and Canada, as of 2015.

Registrants are required to provide their full name as it appears on an official government ID. Additionally, they must also provide a valid email address, a Cisco certification ID or Test ID number, company name and the method of payment. Registration can be done up to six weeks in advance, and as late as the day of the scheduled exam date.

On the date of the exam, candidates must present two forms of identification with signature and consent to have their digital photograph and signature captured in order to be granted admission to the testing facility. In the event that a candidate does not pass the exam on the first attempt, a period of five calendar days must pass before the exam can be taken again.

Training courses for the CCNA certification exams are available online and at Cisco affiliated learning centers. Candidates can find and enroll in these courses through the Cisco Learning Locator found on the Cisco website in the Training and Events section.
