AutoNation is one of the largest automotive retailers in the United States, with about 300 franchises nationwide. It is based in Fort Lauderdale.
NextEra Energy is a Fortune 200 member and has a number of subsidiary companies that provide utilities throughout Florida and in a number of other states. It is headquartered in Juno Beach. Darden Restaurants owns a number of national restaurant chains such as Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse. It also founded Red Lobster, though the company sold the franchise in 2014. It is based in Orlando.
