As of 2014, the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists dictates that the minimum daily rate for a stuntman on a low-budget production is $504. A stuntman working a five-day week earns at least $1,880.

The SAG-AFTRA minimum rates increase for theatrical and television productions that are not low-budget. The daily rate goes up to $859 for stunt performers and stunt coordinators, with a minimum weekly rate of $3,200. Stuntmen working on TV productions earn at least $2,347 for a three-day week on a half-hour or full-hour show.
