To access the MiamiDade.gov job search feature, you must first select the county employees' login, the non-county government employees' login, or the register and apply option. You may search without registering for an account, but you must register to apply for jobs. The search box is at the bottom of the screen. To browse all jobs, click Search without entering anything in the search box.

To conduct a focused search, enter a job title, abbreviation or acronym, a keyword or a job family. Some job families are information technology, administrative support/clerical/paraprofessional, professional/managerial and trades/manual labor. The county also offers a job search agent that uses your job search criteria to notify you of new job postings.

You must file a separate application for each position. You may also file an application not specific to a current job opening. The county keeps your application on file for two years.

School jobs are classified as instructional, non-instructional and administrative. Instructional jobs include teaching, counseling and other school district positions. Non-instructional jobs include clerical, maintenance, bus driver and paraprofessional jobs. Principal, supervisor and analyst jobs are in the administrative category.
