Marketing mix is a marketing technique that focuses on the four different choices that a business looks at when determining its plan to market products to consumers. The four choices, also called the four P's, are product, place, price and promotion.
When looking at the product, businesses consider what a customer wants or needs from the product itself. Place focuses on where customers expect to find the product, including what type of store it might be found in. Price is the amount a customer is willing to pay for the product, and promotion is determining the best way to get information about the product to potential customers.
