There are a variety of manufacturers that produce super stock tractors, including Case-IH, John Deere, Agco Allis, Oliver, Massy Ferguson, Ford and Deutz. Most super stock tractors are converted from standard production models in order to increase performance capability.
Super stock tractors are most often used for competitive entertainment, much like monster trucks or race cars. Because of this, each super stock tractor undergoes various modifications in order to increase speed and power. Sometimes the modifications are so prevalent that there is very little of the original tractor left. The super stock tractor becomes a conglomeration of parts and pieces from numerous manufacturers.
