Make regular bill payments by setting up an automatic bank draft. Under this arrangement, the amount of your bill is automatically deducted from a connected checking account every month. You can also set up an average payment plan to limit financial stress caused by fluctuating utility bills. Under this plan, you pay a value that is the average of your previous 12 months of usage. Customers with difficulty paying their bill can visit or call a MVEC office to arrange a payment schedule.
The MVEC is a voluntary cooperative organization that was first established in 1937 by a group of ranchers and farmers in the Rio Grande valley area. The organization came together to provide power for their respective farms and ranches and manage to secure a loan of $200,000 from the Rural Electrification Administration to build 75 miles of power lines.Learn more about Customer Service
