It offers a list of its insurance company members on its website at NTHECC.org, and also offers a list of heavy equipment insurance adjusters by state.
The National Equipment Register is an organization funded by insurance companies that works with law enforcement agencies to maintain a database of stolen heavy equipment and provide reports and analytic services to the companies. In 2015, it released a report on heavy equipment thefts that it co-wrote with the National Insurance Crime Bureau. The top theft targets in 2014 were heavy equipment manufactured by John Deere, Kubota Tractor Corp., Bobcat, Caterpillar and Toro, according to PR Newswire.
