Most Prove It tests are between 30 and 55 questions in length, with the questions progressing in difficulty from very basic to more advanced. Most tests, with the exception of typing and data entry assessments, do not have time limits.
Time limits are generally not imposed on Prove It tests to prevent violation of candidates' rights under the American Disabilities Act. However, the system does log the amount of time it takes the candidate to complete the test and to answer each question. Though tests vary in length, they are generally designed to be completed in less than an hour.
