LiteBlue is for USPS employees to communicate and stay connected to their pay, benefits and important information regarding their job. The system provides employees with information regarding revenue, service performance, products and career development. The system also allows employees to give feedback. LiteBlue gives employees secure access to PostalEASE, which is another system set up for USPS employees to manage their benefits. LiteBlue continues to evolve to allow USPS employees to have the latest information consistently and efficiently.

Employees are able to log onto the LiteBlue system with their employee ID and their password. Employee IDs are found at the top of the employee's earning statement. It is an eight-digit number printed above the words "Employee ID." As of April 28, 2014, a new security standard was implemented that allows employees to access a number of USPS self-service applications, including LiteBlue. If employees have not set up a password in their self-service profile, they must go to the self-service profile webpage and follow the instructions for setting up their online account.
