Dell, which produces computers and other technology products, has annual revenues of $59 billion. Albertson's, which operates retail grocery stores nationwide, has annual revenues of $57.5 billion.
The fifth largest private company by revenue is Bechtel, which operates in the construction industry. Bechtel has annual revenues of $37.2 billion. PricewaterhouseCoopers offers business services and supplies, with an annual revenue of $35.4 billion. Mars, which is famous for its candy bars but offers many other food and beverage products, has annual revenues of $33 billion.
The three other companies among the top 10 largest private companies by annual revenue include a convenience store operator and two grocery store companies. Pilot Flying J operates convenience stores and fueling stations all over the country, with annual revenues of $31 billion. Publix Supermarkets operates a popular chain of grocery stores in the southeast United States, with an annual revenue of $30.6 billion.
