Kronos Incorporated's Workforce Central suite is a workforce management platform with integrated features designed to facilitate a multitude of employer needs in the workplace. The Workforce application allows company managers to control scheduling processes, track time and attendance and monitor employee absences. Kronos offers two versions of the Workforce suite, one for smaller businesses and one for larger organizations. Kronos Workforce Ready is a cloud-centric software application suitable for businesses with an employee count of 2,500 or less; Kronos Workforce Central, designed for medium to large enterprises with more than 2,500 employees, can be utilized via the cloud or on location.
Both versions facilitate payroll administration, human resource services and attendance tracking. Workforce Central contains additional functionality centered around employee productivity and absence tracking, as well as advanced scheduling options and company analytics capable of measuring employee performance and overall departmental progress.
Both Kronos suites feature advanced search functionality and complex query processes for easy, immediate access to worker records and related content. Built-in activity tracking aids employers by providing established data checkpoints and suggested guidelines for the administration of employee performance assessments. Additionally, performance tracking capability aids in the construction of candidate profiles for purposes of future promotion consideration and other possible employee recognition factors.
