An interesting fact about the Komatsu D575A is that it is the largest bulldozer ever manufactured, as of 2015. A prototype of the machine was first revealed to the public at the Conexpo equipment exhibition in 1981. The current model, the D575A-3 SD, made its debut in 2001.
The D575A is powered by a 12-cylinder, four-stroke, water-cooled diesel engine. The D575A-3 SD features a re-designed operator cabin and major frame changes, and it can move up to 125 cubic yards of material per pass when equipped with an optional blade. Due to its large size, the bulldozer must be broken down and transported in pieces
