Valu-Mart weekly fliers tend to have items in categories including baby, baking and cooking, deli, frozen desserts and seafood, as of May 2015. A list on the left side of the online flier explains how many items fitting each category are in the current week's flier.
Further item categories include breakfast, coffee and tea, condiments and salad dressings, frozen meat and soft drinks. Customers are not limited to searching items by type; they can investigate by brand and promotional offers as well. If they choose brand, customers can see how many items of each brand are in the flier. Brands include Cadbury, Campbell's, Coca-Cola, Kellogg's and Kraft. Promotional categories include PC Plus Points and Stock Up and Save.
Customers have three ways to view the flier: item view, page view and accessible view. Item view allows customers to filter products by category, while page view shows the printed flier. In page view, customers can use a green search bar to type keywords and search terms. Accessible view is a text list of flier items and does not include pictures.
At the top of the Valu-Mart page, customers can click on View Weekly Flyer to pick the flier for the store closest to them. They input city, province or postal code information.
