Jobs that involve horseback riding range from the obvious, such as jockey or rodeo cowboy, to the unusual, such as stunt double. Other options include work exercising or minding horses for other people and breaking horses for riding.
A job that involves horseback riding does not necessarily have to have the riding as its main focus. Careers in the mounted police, for example, are more focused on law enforcement despite the daily opportunities for horseback riding. Most careers that involve horseback riding do involve a large quantity of time spent with horses even when not riding, however, such as being a horse trainer or a mounted guide.
