In addition, they are responsible for a company's performance management systems, committee facilitation, employee communication, office space planning and hiring strategies.

Human resources generalists report to the human resources manager of a company. Most companies require candidates for the human resources generalist position to have at least a bachelor's degree. As of 2015, they make an average of $49,547 a year.
