The Internal Revenue Service 1040EZ form is the easiest IRS income tax form to complete, according to the IRS. It can be used by individual or joint taxpayers if, as of 2015, they have income of less than $100,000, do not have dependents and satisfy other requirements.
Additional requirements include that the taxpayer does not owe household employment taxes, does not itemize deductions and does not have taxable interest that is more than $1,500. The taxpayer cannot be a debtor in a Chapter 11 bankruptcy if the bankruptcy was filed after October 16, 2005. The taxpayer also cannot claim credits or adjustments, except the Earned Income Credit. An individual who does not qualify to file the 1040EZ form must file a 1040A or a 1040.
