An inventory template sheet is an precreated spreadsheet that allows users to add their own inventory information. Inventory template sheets are available online and through spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Excel.
A typical inventory template includes fields and categories for inventory identification numbers, product names, product descriptions and product unit prices. In addition, these templates allow users to note the number of a given product in inventory and whether or when it's time to reorder a specific product and how many to reorder. Inventory templates also let users mark when products have been discontinued. Templates can be filled in using a computer or printed to be filled in by hand.
