What Is the History of the Dash Clothing Store?

DASH is a women's clothing boutique founded in 2006 by sisters Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian. DASH specializes in selling high-end women's clothing. Currently, there are three DASH stores, with one each in Miami Beach, New York City and Los Angeles.

In 2009, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" spin-off "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami" centered in part on the two Kardashian sisters' efforts to open their second DASH store.

In 2011, another spin-off, "Kourtney and Kim Take New York," premiered, this time focused on the Kardashians' opening of their New York City location of DASH.

In 2012, the original DASH store moved from Calabasas to West Hollywood. The sisters explained that they hoped the move to the more easily accessible Melrose Avenue site would increase customer traffic to the store.

In 2014, E! began airing "Kourtney and Khloe Take the Hamptons," detailing the sisters' opening of a DASH pop-up shop for the summer.

DASH calls its employees Dash Dolls. In 2015, television channel E! premiered "Dash Dolls," a reality series and spin-off of E!'s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." The series, set at the DASH location in West Hollywood, stars Khloe Kardashian's friend Khadijah Haqq and store co-manager, who appeared on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" in the past.
