The average base salary paid to Mozilla employees is slightly less than $113,000, while Altera pays its employees an average of $133,250. Google employees earn an average salary of $116,000.
The average total compensation for certain companies is significantly higher than the base salary alone. TrueCar, for instance, pays employees a base salary of $100,000, lower than other technology companies on the top-paying list. However, after factoring in all other forms of compensation, employees take home an average of $141,500 per year.
