As of 2015, grants offered by the Clinton Foundation include the Clinton Climate Initiative; the Development Initiative in Rwanda, Malawi and Tanzania; the Clinton Foundation in Haiti; and the Clinton Health Matters Initiative. The Clinton Foundation has a longstanding interest in promoting environmental and economic growth.
The Climate Initiative supports the development of scalable projects that are tailor-made to meet local conditions to serve as innovative models for addressing global climate change. The Clinton Development Initiative enhances economic growth by equipping farmers with necessary tools such as seeds, fertilizer and other agricultural inputs to support and uplift their local communities. The foundation also supports programs and partnerships that boost economic growth, support small enterprises and empower women and girls to build a prosperous future for Haiti.
