Gaballi has replaced Angel Food Ministries as the new affordable food program in Florida. The Christian company works with non-profit organizations, such as churches and schools, to provide discount groceries to the public. The company is based in Florida, but distributes food to organizations nationwide.
Gaballi provides fresh vegetables, fruits and meats for up to 70 percent off retail prices. The community can order groceries on the Gaballi website or in person at one of the non-profit host locations. The host locations help customers place orders and serve as distribution sites on food delivery days. Customers pick up Gaballi orders once a month at a scheduled date and time. If a customer finds an order unsatisfactory, Gaballi refunds 100 percent of the purchase amount.
Anyone can place orders with Gaballi, as there are no income requirements. Customers can use SNAP and EBT to pay for Gaballi orders.
In addition to selling discount food, Gaballi provides resources and donations to host sites. Host organizations receive $1 from Gaballi for every box of food they deliver. Gaballi also donates a portion of the food to these sites to stock food pantries. Customers can earn free food by referring family and friends to Gaballi.
