As of 2015, to file a claim with United Services Auto Insurance, members can call the association at 210-531-8722 or 800-531-8722, or submit claims online by logging in using their online identifications and passwords, according to United Services Automobile Association. Members who do not have online identification can register at USAA.com. Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon or AT&T mobility customers can contact the association using #8722. Individuals who have claim-related questions but are not members can also call the association.
The claim filing process applies to reporting vehicle collisions, theft, and hail or other damage, states United Services Automobile Association. Members can make claims and receive help for roadside problems such as dead batteries, flat tires, vehicle lockouts and towing requests. The association accepts online and phone claims for broken or shattered windows or windshields and reports of theft or damage at policyholders' homes.
Members who have filed claims can log in to access the online claims center 24 hours a day, every day, explains USAA. Policyholders can check the status of their claims, schedule inspections and accomplish other tasks.
Since 1999, USAA has continually ranked high in customer satisfaction with its policyholders who file claims, according to Consumer Reports. A survey of more than 64,000 ConsumerReports.org subscribers who filed insurance claims from 2011 to 2014 showed that more than 90 percent of those who responded to the survey were highly satisfied with the way USAA handled their claims.
