As of 2015, credit cards with no annual fees include the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card, offering a travel rewards program, the Amex EveryDay® Credit Card from American Express, which offers a zero percent interest rate for the first 15 months, and the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card, a card that also voids any foreign transaction fees, reports CreditCards.com. Some credit cards only offer the first year free of fees.
Other free-fee credit card options include the Chase Freedom card, the Discover it — New! card and the Citi Double Cash Card, according to NerdWallet. The Citi Double Cash Card gives customers 1 percent cash back on all purchases and another 1 percent cash back when the customer pays off each purchase, with no caps on possible rewards. This card also waives the fee for one late payment.
The Chase Freedom card has no annual fee, and it offers 5 percent cash back on purchases in certain categories, reports NerdWallet. These categories rotate quarterly and include purchases at department stores, restaurants and home improvement stores, as of 2015.
The Discover it — New! card has no annual fee and no foreign transaction fees, states NerdWallet. It pays customer rewards in cash instead of a points system, and the card offers a 5 percent to 20 percent cash-back bonus on purchases in select categories that rotate quarterly.
