A feature of Home Branch includes access to customer accounts online 24 hours a day, seven days a week, says Weokie. Customers can also check their balances through Home Branch. Additional features customers can utilize through Home Branch are the ability to review their account history, make loan payments, view the front and back of all cleared checks and transfer funds between their Weokie accounts.
Customers can also enroll in free bill pay when they have a Home Branch account, explains Weokie. This service allows customers to pay their bills or make other payments through their Weokie checking accounts. Customers must have a checking account with Weokie Credit Union, be a Home Branch user and have an Internet browser that meets Weokie's minimum requirement. After a customer enrolls in bill pay, he must add payees before he can schedule any payments.
When setting up payees, the customer needs to ensure the information is obtained from his most current bill received to avoid delays in processing the payments, according to Weokie. As of May 2015, the bill pay cut-off time is 9:00 p.m. Central time. Any payments made after this time are processed the next business day. No payments are sent on Saturdays, Sundays or holidays.
