Finviz allows investors to monitor U.S. stocks using more than 60 technical and basic metrics with its drop-down menus and filters features, explains the Motley Fool. Finviz enables investors to transfer data into a spreadsheet through its export function.
Investors can view intraday charts from the Nasdaq Composite, the S&P 500 and the Dow Industrials on Finviz, reports Forbes. These charts run in 10-minute intervals and helps viewers to assess the health of the stock market. Users of Finviz can also utilize the information below the charts that provide the declining data, advancing data, and the new lows and new highs for the AMEX, Nasdaq and NYSE stock exchanges. Investors can use the filters to separate stocks into lists such as stocks with Unusual Volume. This filter contains several pages of stocks, including those with the highest trade volume.
The filters expand-collapse button allows users to view the available screening criteria list, notes Finviz. Investors can also expedite workflow by combining multiple filters and saving these filters as a preset. This action allows investors to access the information at later times from the menu. Signals such as Top Gainers and Top Losers allows investors to know when to exit or enter a trade.Learn more about Investing
