The Farm Service Agency's electronic Loan Deficiency Payment Service allows users to request loan deficiency payments online and receive notice of approval and payment within 72 hours. This service is available to all eligible U.S. Department of Agriculture customers located within all fifty states.
Alternately, the electronic Direct and Counter-Cyclical Payment Program allows users to enroll in the service online, select desired payment options and submit contracts electronically. The Farm Service Agency provides this program for all agricultural producers eligible, and the service is always available online. Registering for a USDA eAuthentication Level 2 Account is required of first time users in order to ensure privacy and eligibility.
Agricultural producers may also choose to take advantage of these benefits in-person at their local Farm Service Agency office.
