All effective real estate ads start with a good headline. The headline is meant to be informative and capture the attention of potential home buyers. It should include a benefit to the person reading the ad and include something topical or interesting. Including something that might spark their curiosity or make it difficult to not click on the ad is always a plus.
When writing a real estate ad, start with the most important facts first in a short paragraph, then go into a bullet points list of the features and amenities. If an ad starts off boring, the homeowner might skim the information but not completely absorb it. Get their attention early with surprising or unique features of a home, whether it has a fireplace in the bathroom, custom-built sunroom or floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room.
Include brand names whenever possible, as this can entice home buyers that like high-end products. When describing the brand new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, use the brand name so the buyer knows if it is something they would be interested in.
