Ducks Unlimited Canada uses the majority of its financial resources derived from print sales for the conservation of endangered wetlands. It primarily concentrates on habitats where waterfowl breed.
Ducks Unlimited Canada is a part of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan, which has a goal of restoring waterfowl populations to where they used to be in past years. Along with other non-profit groups, they have secured and preserved over 27 million hectares of waterfowl ecosystems, including four diverse habitat systems: Canadian Intermountain, Pacific Coast, Eastern and Prairie Habitat. Ducks Unlimited Canada has invested over 680 billion dollars in re-establishing wetlands for waterfowl, with virtually all of it coming in the form of donations.
