Are There Any Driving Jobs for Seniors?

The AARP has listed limo driver as one of the best seasonal jobs for older people. Other driving jobs that could be available to seniors include shuttle and school bus driving.

Weddings and proms drive a good portion of the limousine driving business, and the busy season is from April through June. As of July 2015, the pay tends to range up to $16.84 an hour or higher based on variables including the amount of tips received. A key qualification is, of course, a clean driving record. Employers likely will appreciate patience and a level head.

For other types of driving jobs, seniors could check with airports and school systems. These jobs are likely to offer flexible hours.
