To search for individual doctor specialists, select the tab marked Find Physicians and Other Health Care Professionals, and enter your ZIP code, explains Medicare.gov. In the search box, enter appropriate search terms such as the name of a physician, specialty, body part or medical condition. To locate physicians involved in group practices, select the tab marked Find Group Practices, and enter your ZIP code and search terms. Alternatively, select the tab marked Search Another Way, and select male, female or child. Select a listed body part, item and specialty, enter your location, and click on Search.

To narrow your search, click on Additional Search Options on the Physicians Compare home page, advises Medicare.gov.
