A free customer survey is a survey issued by business to determine customer satisfaction and assess ways in which the business can improve. It provides a way to measure whether goods and services meet, exceed or fall below customer expectations.
Surveys to assess customer satisfaction are generally quite short and to the point to ensure that customers are more likely to complete them. Surveys may be issued online or in the form of paper comment cards. Many businesses also choose to offer an incentive for completing the survey such as a coupon for use at a later date or an entry in a prize draw.
