After choosing the desired design, begin editing the document by adding text, pictures, graphs and more. The front flap of the brochure should include the name of project, service or business. Add subtitles under the name to give the brochure focus. Insert a picture or logo to complete the front flap. The back flap usually contains contact information, such as an address, phone number, website, email and any social media sites the business uses. In a tri-fold template, the back cover is to the left of the front cover on the front page of the document.
The inside flap typically contains information about the company or project. This section is located on the last third of the front page on the far left. Highlight the main purpose of the brochure on the inside portion, located on the opposite side of the document. A diner, for example, might include the menu or promotional deals, while a charity might include current fund raising needs.
Add images to the inside to draw attention to the important aspects of the brochure. End the inside section with a call to action statement, such as "Donate Now." Edit and re-format the document for clarity, and save the document before printing or mailing.Learn more about Advertising
