ComEd offers a Customer Service tab on ComEd.com that allows customers to access a variety of functions online, as of 2015. Alternatively, the webpage's Contact Us tab provides customer service phone numbers and hours of availability.
The Customer Service tab provides access to technical support and frequently asked questions, details on the company's mobile app, information on rates; pricing and assistance programs and general electricity safety tips. Current ComEd customers may also cancel or transfer service, access their power bill online or report an outage. A link is also provided to ComEd's social media channels.
ComEd customer service is available by phone Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Emergency assistance is always available. Separate phone numbers are offered for business customers, reporting an outage, assistance programs, smart meter inquiries and billing information.
The company's Contact Us tab also includes links to log in to the website and access ComEd's social media presence. Video Relay Service is also available, allowing customers with hearing and speech impairments to contact the company via video chat. ComEd's mailing address is P.O.
