E-Fun, a consumer electronics company headquartered in West Covina, California, manufactures Nextbook, as of 2015. Nextbook tablets are equipped with Intel processors and Android and Windows operating systems. E-Fun entered the United States market late in 2010.
In addition to its Nextbook series, E-Fun offers Apen, a line of patented digital pens that allow users to take notes, sign or draw with a pen and paper while creating digital files simultaneously, without a scanner. Other company products include MT8000, a tablet for reading books, listening to music, watching videos and browsing the Internet. In October 2013, E-Fun announced a partnership with BlueStacks to expand users access to mobile content across a wide range of devices by using cloud technology.
