Microsoft Office includes several popular business software programs bundled together, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook. Windows operating system sales include direct packaged software as well as original equipment manufacturer (OEM) software, Windows operating systems that are sold to manufacturers and pre-installed on personal computers produced for retail sales. A close third is the Server and Tools division that produces industrial software such as Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows Azure and Visual Studio for business and developers .
The Microsoft Entertainment and Devices division is led by its gaming system, Xbox. In 2014, for the first time in history, the Xbox One game console outsold Sony's PS4. Game system revenue is like operating system revenue in that it varies widely depending on the release of new consoles and games. Also in this division is the Windows Phone and Surface tablet, which are growing but still remain tiny compared to industry rivals in 2014. Last is the Microsoft's Online Services Division that was still losing money in 2014.
