Cardholders can check the balance of a Money Network paycard account by logging into the account online, using the Money Network mobile app, or signing up for email- or text-based account balance alerts, according to the First Data Money Network website. Money Network is a checking account alternative for paycheck access.
If a cardholder has a smartphone or tablet, the quickest and easiest way to check a Money Network paycard balance is by downloading the Money Network mobile app for Android or iOS and using it to directly access account information, as explained on the First Data Money Network website. Alternatively, cardholders can go to the Money Network portal and log in to their accounts with a user ID and password. The account information includes the available balance within minutes of the last transaction.
Money Network also lets cardholders set up balance alerts to help keep track of paycheck deposits and other account transactions. By selecting the Balance Notifications option while logged into an account online, a cardholder can schedule text or email alerts when a transaction occurs or at a specific frequency, such as daily or weekly. Cardholders can also call the toll-free number on the back of their Money Network paycard to hear automated balance information and transaction history, according to the Money Network website.
