Some career opportunities for a graduate with a bachelor's degree in health sciences are a medical laboratory technician, an audiologist, a hospital administrator, a radiologist and a dental hygienist. Some other career fields are public relations, biotechnology research and long-term care facilities.
Some careers in Health Sciences require additional licensure or certification besides a bachelor's degree, such as dental hygienist positions and hospital administrator positions. Additionally, graduates of a bachelor's program for health sciences may go on to graduate school and medical school to earn professional training as a medical doctor, pharmacist or veterinarian. Generally, PhDs are required for these fields.
