What Is the CAQH Credentialing Process?

The Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare credentialing process includes registering with the CAQH ProView system and completing an application, as stated in the CAQH ProView Provider User Guide on the CAQH website. The application questions include both standard questions for all providers and state-specific questions.

After registering with the CAQH ProView system and accurately completing all application questions, providers then must authorize participating organizations access to their data profiles, attest to their data profile and upload supporting documentation to complete the credentialing process, as stated on CAQH.org. Additionally, a Provider User Guide, Quick Reference Guide and various instructional videos are provided on the CAQH website to aid in the credentialing process.
