If a car is often borrowed by an uninsured driver, the driver needs to be added to the vehicle policy to maximize protection. Also, the vehicle owner must verify terms and conditions as it relates to drivers with the insurance company. Vehicle registration and insurance verification must be stored in the vehicle at all times, Esurance advises.
