Do the following to find the refund status of a tax return done through H&R Block or any other provider:
Go to the "Refunds" section of the IRS website to find a link to the "Where's My Refund?" tool.
Type the taxpayer's social security number or other taxpayer identification number, select the filing status and then type the refund amount, notes the IRS website. Click "Submit" to get the status.
