Reward catalogs for Master Cards can be found through the banks or institutions that issue the card. Unlike American Express and Discover Card, MasterCard is only a payment network and does not determine the rewards structure for its credit cards.
The Choice Rewards program at ChoiceRewards.ca is an example of a MasterCard issuer that offers one point per dollar spent and displays a online rewards catalog of clothing, electronics, gift cards and other consumer goods to choose from. Retailers can choose to offer extra points with cardholders, and cardholders can collect a maximum of 100,000 points per year.
MasterCard offers an optional service for card issuers which allows cardholders to use points in place of money for MasterCard purchases. The service is called Pay With Rewards.
